SOIL Flowering switch plus different lighting

So I'm switching these over today. They're a little shorter than I was hoping for by now but I have to make sure to have room for more in a couple months. Just put the HPS light back in and have it set at 750W (1000W dimmed to 75%) and still have 2x1200W LEDs in there still. Growth was stunted at the beginning but once they started going, they really took off. So now I have 10 ladies in veg and already have the topping done on them for 8 mains. They're currently in a single 4x4' tent and will likely be splitting them up in about 3-4 weeks as I have 2, 4x4' tents. Using Fox Farms soil, combination of Happy Frog and Ocean Forest, with amended soil underneath. Only watering about every 3 days and so far going great. This is my first soil grow, for those of you who don't already know. Super excited about how well it's been going and can't wait for the finished product. I'll try and keep you all updated as they progress through flower. I have 3 strains going, GG, Str8 Lemonade and TK91. All but the GG were found in bags from the dispensary, the GG I got from a grower way back. Have had great female/seed ratios from the dispensary but may end up with a couple GG males. Crossing my fingers there but we'll see. Anyway, here's some pictures of my 8x8' with both kinds of lights and the ladies of course.

Thanks. Hoping to have 10 that are double or triple the size of these for the next round. Goal is to get a couple pounds per harvest and trying for harvests about every 2 months. Lots of edibles, tincture, hash and of course all the weed I can smoke lol

UPDATED PICS: week one into flower and going good. 8 confirmed females so far! Included singles of 2 of my biggest ladies. Have also added a 3rd LED since then.

I’m sure you’ll get the couple of pounds you’re looking for. I used a very similar lighting setup for the first grow I’d ever done and 9 plants did over 3 1/2 lbs. by dumb luck. You’ve got 16 .....Plants hit the ceiling and lights at over 7’

was fun to see but I’ve learned there are easier ways. Painful Backbreaking harvest for days. Some colas hit over 16” and soda can girth. Like I said ...it was fun to see a spectacular learning sequence

I'm hoping to get 2, some of the ladies are kind of small still. And I'm not sure all of them are female yet. Looking good so far but we should find out for sure in the next week

Yeah for sure. I already told my friend she's got to help me and I'll throw her some bud and she's so ready. Already found 6 males unfortunately but I think that's it. Thought about keeping them but if I pollinate myself I want to make sure the pollen is from females so I get feminized seeds. Still have a lot of seeds to use up though before I think about trying that. Will be rearranging when I dispose of the males and I'll update pictures again. Growth is surprisingly fast right now so it should be a huge difference.

9 ladies for sure, one I'm not quite sure about yet but I had to get rid of 6 males already. I'll wait for some buds to post the next pictures, probably a new post.

Beautiful, a shame about the males, but your still gonna have a nice size harvest.
I love growing in soil, it might not be the fastest, way to get to harvest, but it shore tastes good, and is very potent smoke.
Keep up the great job.
