Flowering stages for autoflowering plants

Are there two stages to the flowering time for Autoflower plants? Is there an early and a late stage? If so, how do I determine when the late stage starts? Is there watering changes based upon what flowering stage the plant is in?

I’ve spent time reviewing the plant diagnosis portion of the site. It seems I am giving approximately a half gallon daily right now. The top soil is not extremely dry or dusty but the soil seems more packed than I would like. I do not think I can do much with the soil at this stage of the grow process.

I’m still trying to determine if I am overwatering or if the nutrients are wrong. Harvest should be day 75 so another week before I start the flush period.

Again, thanks for taking the time to read and offer suggestions. So far, I’ve attempted to use all provided suggestions from the community. Reading as much as I can as suggested. I assume as my knowledge and experience grows this will get less confusing, hopefully.

Plant looks great,id say you have a few more weeks to go,, still have a lot of white pistols,do you have a jewelers loupe to get a look at the trichomes
 
Yes, there is an early and late flowering stage but not just for autos. You'll have to watch the autoflower closely to determine when flowering actually begins. Watch for pre-flowers. That's when the flower stage begins. Late stage would be when the plant is getting closer to the harvest window. You'll see yellowing leaves and other discoloration as the plant uses the energy stored in those leaves. You'll notice that your plant isn't drinking as much. Don't panic during late stage, it's easy to do. It's easier to notice the beginning of the flower stage with photo fem's because of the switch from veg light schedule to flower. The longer dark period triggers the plant's hormones to start producing flowers. It takes about a week to ten days to see the beginning of the change over. In either case let the plant tell you when it's ready to harvest. Watch the trichomes. Watch the pistils. When the bulk of them are orange and turned in it's getting close. Use a jewelers loupe or something similar to look at the trichs. If your seed guide is saying harvest at 75 days use that as a guide.
 
For indoor environmental settings I use 4 stages of flower..early mid late and last 2 weeks.

The first 3 stages I just allow about 3 weeks each give or take.

I’ll go back through the pictures and see if I can identify the different stages. Identifying the stages is still a challenge for me and I hoped to get better at it over time. Thank you.
 
The 75 day est. by the seller, is if a plant is grown under perfect conditions, medium Ph temp. lighting neuts.etc. by an expert grower. I've had 75 go over a 100. When bottom leaves dry and fall off and the rest start looking like autumn is coming, then your in the window. Now I’m embarrassed … i really didn’t know the answer because during this grow (my second grow) I was not sure what was called a flower. So, checking my pictures it appears the first flower (adding the picture) was November 26, so it’s been 27 days. This is a RQS Mimosa Auto.

Do not rely on the breeders info. Each plant is different but will usually fall in a 10 to 15 days period of when they say it will be ready. And almost always to the longer side. Your lady has at least 10 days but more like 15 to 20. If you do not have a loupe to check the trichomes then a good rule for me is wait till 90% or the hairs turn brown then wait 5 more days.
 
I'd be treating her as a middle flower stage around now. As long as you have time in your schedule to allow for a week to dry and a few weeks of burping jars try not to harvest early unless you run into serious problems with the plants health or the humidity goes through the roof.
 
No need to be embarrassed. Stuff happens. I don't want to sound like a broken record, for when to harvest, it really doesn't matter how long your plant has been in flower, how old it is, or whether or not it's an auto or photo type of seed you're growing. What matters is what the trichomes look like and what kind of effects you are lookin for. Nothing else matters. That's when you harvest. Period. If you haven't already, search for when to harvest on the GWE site. You won't go wrong.
 
Thanks again. My pages of GWE are getting worn. I think I got the message this time. Must be a lifetime of following instructions which subconsciously forces me back to the seed literature. I’ll get out of that in time. Have a wonderful holiday.
 
Thank you. I’ll start checking the trichomes. I do have this little Bluetooth digital microscope which provides the better view. I think I’ve come this far I don’t want to fall into any traps and ruin the effort. Thanks again, have a wonderful holiday.
