Flower light issues

So I switched my lights over to my flower light and check on them often.. I’ve noticed over the past few days to a week the light will random shut off when it’s suppose to be on..
i checked the timer to make sure it wasn’t it.
and I checked the alignment
my best guess is it has a heat sensor on it and is shutting off to prevent over heating..
now my veg light didn’t do this so I was wondering if it would be better to switch back to the veg light and keep the 12/12 cycle or would this not be advice thank you in advance

better to switch back to the veg light and keep the 12/12 cycle. for now if it's strong enuff

Lights coming on during the dark period- would be a cause for concern.
It's about having a minimum of 12 hrs uninterupted darkness that matters-

Not how much light you have in flower.
So, periods of darkness during the "light on" schedule is not an issue.

The light itself has a heat sensor as many new ones do I have a few timers so I switched them that how I knew it wasn’t the timer I was more of asking if it was better to switch to a light I knew wouldn’t turn off or keep it as it is.. and the above memeber answered

I figured it out I had the setting on the ballast set to high (600w) when the bulb being a 400w I figure this was causing the over heating and turning off.. switched setting haven’t noticed it since..

check your setting people some some of the most obvious things get over looked or forgot about lol
