Hey there growing community, I am embarking on my 4th grow. 1st grow 3 plants with a 400watt in coco, 2nd grow 9 plants with a 600 watt in coco, 3rd grow DWC( bubbleponics) 2 in a 17 gallon tote spider farmer 2000. My 4th grow is DWC using a 600 watt, 2 plants in a 17 gallon tote( Gordo Master kush and Blue dream, I topped each plant 3 times so each will have 8 tops. I saved 2 clones( 1 Gordo Master kush, 1 blue dream) and put them in 1 gallon pots( I fimm'ed both of them). I'm doing a side by side grow bc I believe the potency of the ganja grown in coco is superior to that of DWC. I just flattened out my canopy, 5 days before I switch them to flower. By no means an I am expert but I pick up on things quickly and growing has quickly become something I love and advocate to anyone who will listen. How do they look?

One thing I have not been able to achieve is crazy colors during flower, maybe it's my strains but grand daddy purple was so disappointing imo. I need to unlock the rainbow. So far I have grown, white widow, Bruce Banner, Bruce banger, blue dream, grand daddy purple, and critical purple kush. My personal favorites are blue dream and critical purple kush. Seedsman seeds are top notch quality IMHO.

Looks solid man. Interesting to see what happens between the two.
As for unlocking the rainbow it boils down to genetics. I've grown the same strain side by side. One is your typical green bud the other turned completely purple and beautiful.

Beautiful grow Msizzle, and good strain choices if you want to see the color purple.

I realize it's controversial, but in my experience really brilliant Purple coloration is a combination of genetics and environment. My best results have been when my plants experienced abnormally cool and dry conditions during flowering. That has brought out the colors even in strains like Bruce Banner (left & center below) and White Widow (on the right).

OR I may just gotten lucky with some unique phenotypes on those grows.

What is abnormally cool? Low 30's? I've let the overnight temps go as low as mid 40's but on this grow, I'm gonna attempt low 30's.

Sometimes it is just genetics. From last year "purple flower".
