Fix the split trunk

Mistakes happen, be careful in training. That is, I should be as the trunk split when I was careless. However, I've sealed the break and does anybody want to take any bets that this plant survives and eventually thrives? My money is on full recovery. Who's taking the other side?

Fix is wrap it up.

I bet she'll grow out beautifully. I've saved a few after some careless LST mistakes. Wrapped some tape around them in and two weeks they are as good as new.

Yup, believe it or not, duct tape may do an even better job...just don't leave it on more than a week. up the nitrogen a tad to speed it along.

Sometimes even being careful this can happen. I've split a few like that and snapped branches almost clean off. Support it and tape it and she will be fine in a week or 2.

It’s happens from time to time with my plants also. Not necessarily a bad thing, because the plants who made the split like that turned out to give excellent buds apparently, in my experience.
I use zip ties for when it happens. Then after 2-3 weeks I cut the zip tie off and it’s holding together by itself
