First week of transition.

Well just a few days, but switched a couple of the bulbs in fixture with 3000k bloom bulbs for first week, second week will add two more. The T5 fixture ie used to veg these ladies will be swapped out and perhaps be used as additional side lighting but top fixture is now going to be a 1500 w LED, I’m sure I will have use lst again soon as their height will rocket now.

Any input would be appreciated.

Read up on suppercropping. It may be scary so just try it on whatever you take off first. Practice makes perfect or so they say but I've been known to break a few stems doing it for 3 grows now. Looks like that big one could use it 😉.

Yes the pic I just took they had been trimmed two days ago so there was lots of room through the canopy and lower down, you’re right I should take off a lot more, raising the lil one has proven tricky doesn’t like to be too close to the light, she started out life last out of 8, three survived by my choice and natural selection, but she was the runt of the litter, I kept with her and she has always been slow and sticky but the caliper on her is over 2 inch thick! Will post another after better leaf trimming. Thanks Kingfish.

Hi Chef, yes I am familiar with super cropping and these gals were scrogged in but I had to unchain them to repot the middle one.. my plan was to scrog higher up and provide support from above on some colas later on, or to supercrop now and scrog.

Def will bring the shorter one up to same height as the others to scrog in, I figure those two pots will have to be their homes now though, I had planned to repot them also...

I've seen people supercrop 6foot plants in half and put them under a scrog. I found it on YouTube one day. There were massive branches he used taped up pliars and a cloth over the stem...it was pretty insane. I thought no way would I attempt that 😆.

Do you suggest it’s best to trim say a couple of hours before others go out guys or earlier on, I figured before lights out due to hormones being transported etc

Haven't really read anything about time of day to prune. I do it at my convenience usually during midday.
