First time SCRoGer and I'm loving it!

I think I'm going to have to SCRoG from now on! Training the girls is so much easier and I use the full footprint my light allows. I'm growing in soil with a 450W LED grow light with a 2'X3' footprint for flowering plants. I'm growing one Wonder Woman and one Pure Power Plant. They are 3 weeks into flower and look beautiful! I've been growing for just a year and a half, and have tried a variety of training methods in search of the best and most efficient method for me and my grow set up. I think this is it - of course, taking the girls all the way to harvest will be the true measure of success. The only thing I will change for my next grow: the squares in my SCRoG are too big, 5" x 5" and next time I change to 3"x3".

Wow great screen Dagmar, I made the mistake of making my squares 2”x2”. Managed to cable tie the strings together and made them close to 3”x3” which worked a lot better

Wonder Woman (L) and Pure Power Plant (R) are roughly half way to harvest at 4 weeks in flower (Nirvana says 8-10 weeks in flower on both). I topped both plants only twice - the SCRoG is responsible for so many buds. Running the branches along the netting during the Veg Stage really allowed all the growth nodes along the branches to be exposed to the light and grow to become what will be big, fat colas with big, fat buds. And as you know: I like big buds and I can not lie.
