First time outside grow help.

I am doing an outside grow using live soil. I found a couple caterpillars and used Ed Rosenthal zero tolerance herbal pesticide. I haven't found any more caterpillars but plant doesn't seem to be improving. And there seem to be little bits of decaying plant in the core of the bud. Is there something else going on besides caterpillars?

The brown spots look like it could be a calcium deficiency. Check your pH levels.
