First time grower. Help required!

After all is said and done. It will be cheaper to go out and BUY yourself some weed then it will for you to grow it. The amount you will get isn't worth the price of electricity. Not to mention the quality will be shit.
I know that isn't what you want to hear, but that is the truth. With those lights, you ain't got a chance.

Cant you order some lights online, like Amazon or something, the correct lighting is probably the most important piece of equipment you're going to use. Don't skimp on the "sun" dude. What about CFL lights, you can grab those at a hardware store.

Agreed. I don't understand why OP is hell bent on those floods, If you don't have access to HID, then CFL would be the way to go. I could grow a plant under a flashlight but that doesn't mean i should.

I ordered 487 of these lights for my grow. Should be a bright glow I hope. It wont grow nuttin but I can watch/work in the garden even at night without my miners lamp. (saves on AAAs)

Vegdude 1 first of all I think you're plants look really good. It probably makes no difference to others but I do have eight years and Horticulture and botany and I still don't knowvery much but would be glad to help you in any way I can. Your plants look really well. My best advice is to use your common sense learn what's your plant llike. Also learned tha also learn the 5 limiting factors to a great and have fun

Too stretchie needs stronger light to stop strech and bigger pots to get bigger wallmarts are everywhere so are garden centers comeon if you want to grow you can do it on the cheep and come away with some desent bud but you can invest in a few 60watt flo and some 5 gal. Buckets giving them a chance to make it.lol

I agree with Rockman. I germinate seeds in Solo cups with holes cut in the bottom. Within two weeks after germination, I have roots coming out of holes in bottom of cup and transplant.

DWC4ME we actually have cfl lights here but they're very low wattage. We even have MH bulbs which are 400w each but the electricity bill will be through the roof with those so I figured these flood lights would be the best alternative choice.

I'm still working on getting better lights. We actually have most of the lights but with MH bulbs the electricity bill will be through the roof and cfl bulbs are too low in wattage.

It's very difficult to get your hands on weed here, we do however have the best quality hash which I'm tired of. For some reason the people who sell hash don't sell weed.

Appreciate it veg dude, I've actually done lots of research online on how to grow. The limiting factors in my case are the un-availability of the perfect soil/nutrients and also the lack of proper lighting. I am however still working towards reaping something from these plants. Hoping for the best here!

past Folk lore you are more than welcome to email me you should be able get my email. I do use Fox Farms ocean forest soil with some Happy Frog mix fertilizer and I will not grow with anything else. Subcool soil is nice but it's a hassle to put together. Growace.com has 400 watt full packages like packages any 100 . hope this might help you a lot later vegdude

do what Rockman tells you he is one that has a lot of knowledge and can help you get through this. Please transplant bring your soil Heights up on your stretch plants get some cheap fluorescent lighting from Home Depot and you'll do fine. By the time they're ready to flower maybe you can obtain some decent lights. You will do fine
