So I want to get a nice picture later of my two girls that are to be bubba kush... Now I've done my fair share of research an I don't think this is a bubba kush!? May have some type of bubba in them but I really don't see it? I'll have to take a pic with my flash light right before lights turn on later to show y'all but I think that the old man I got the two seeds off of lied? Just said it was bubba for some reason? But if ANYONE has any input on what strain these two are please throw it out there...thanks again everyone!! Happy new year's!!

My Coco plant getting Kool bloom and molasses honey mix is getting fatter buds already than the soil grow with big Bud an Bud candy but the soil grow has way way more Bud sites... So we'll see which one has theuds!! Anyways I've been looking and so far these two girls don't look like bubba kush... Are at least don't look like none of the bubba strains I've seen? An them pre 98 an sr1 have like a blue tint that starts showing as they start budding and there no sugar look yet?! Also feel like the leaves are turning a darker green which makes no sense I've cut grow an bloom back... But mayne not enough? No types of deficiencies, odd growth, or slow ?? So may just be the strain? I dunno anymore!? But hope y'all enjoy happy growing.. ideas an opinions are greatly appreciated! Thanks an happy growing new year's!!

Sorry I forgot to mention there a new plant in there the back right! Veg closet was getting full. . .I planned on putting two in there when the two kush plants reached 4weeks old into flowering but the soil plant grew to big lol can't fit the other in there... But about to untie the new one in back and let her go!! Haven't fed her nutes yet just all composts teas and amended the soil... It's ffof mixed 50 50 with native soil from family's farm garden and worm castings... Used dolo. Lime, molasses, and roots organic bat guano... Been growing pretty nicely... I didn't Wana burn her out with nutes yet so I dumped in that bad guano in my compost tea .. is high in K going on 2-12-0... I just added liquid Kool bloom a littxle..... First bit of nutes its had.... Hope its not to much?? Didn't plan on doing it all the time just every now an again.... If this works with growing wit no nutes I'll be so PUMp!!! !lol .. Surprised that is made it this long honestly with ... So awesome.. Happy growing everyone.....

Hey 88, I bet your plant in your homemade soil does real good, there is plenty of good stuff in that soil. Plus you get to watch them yellow up, like growing naturally, less is best. Specially the finished product.
Your plants look good in your screen.

The coco is about 7inchs the front soil about 9 and back soil 7inch.. The screen can go up are down plus the fabric pots are on blocks of foam type so the front soils only on one block while the back two are on two

Thought I could keep training them into week three flower but about end of week two I went to start tucking an broke the top of one of my main branches.... So pissed happened so fast was crazy... Got a few small ones tucked and just been letting them go

Looking really nice... Sucks I couldn't tuck a few of these tall branches.. They shot up an got so bridle so quickly like I swear over night! I got a few smaller ones tucked out to the sides so they should get some nice bud... But first time I've ever had so many bud sites on one plant... Amazing.. The kool bloom and the molasses an honey mix is still forming nicer buds than the big bud an bud candy... But I'm giving both them all the same other additives.. The pk boosters n sweeteners is all that's different... Well of course kool blooms in coco an big buds in soil... But still the soil grow has over 50plus bud sites and the stalk on it is crazy big... Got to be close to 2inchs on just one side.. Anyways the Nice's bud is forming right where the 600watt led light meets the 150watt HP's light... Beautiful looking.. But can't wait to see it in about 4 more weeks are so! Keep you guys posted!

My girls are doing great an I have to say thanks to all you guys help and encouragement with this grow... I am glad I finally chose this site to join or of all the other forums.. I do see that I need a bigger set up though... Been thinking about getting a tent twice the size as I have now... An also thinking about getting a bigger hps light to go with my600watt led... Thinking like another600watt hps would be GTEAT!😁 so I'll keep you guys posted... Hopefully won't take me to long to resource the funds for it... Lol Happy New Year and happy growing everyone

I'm growing some vintage Bubba Kush/OG Kush that's is most likely pre98 Bubba. Wait until around harvest time to compare pics because I thought I had OG Kush but mine looks exactly like most Bubba Kush instead. It looks like you have something similar but don't be discouraged. KUSH IS THE MOST UNKNOWN LINEAGE OF ANY STRAIN!!
It's history is 100% anectdotal, word of mouth. Fantastical lore!

Short internodes, flat top canopy, ultra dense golf ball nugs EVERYWHERE, stems get rigid fast and it makes LST prone to snapping and breaking...
Extremely dark leaves all the way through bud and even into harvest. Keeps lots of green in her leaves every time, almost blue hue it gets so dark. Tough to get yellow leaves. Again, it's a very very dark blue green plant. Just the way she is!

Stinky like crushed ripe pineapple over fresh brewed coffee as soon as you start seeing hairs it will reek like Kush.

My Kush is a photoperiod strain that's clone only, the genetics are so stable it has never hermied or seeded on me no matter the stress levels. I seeded a whole crop of Bruce Banner and out of the 4 Kush plants in the room I only got 3 seeds!!! Incredible.

My Grow Guru has kept this exact strain for 15years now and knows exactly when and where in California he got it. I grow it now and he still does so hopefully I can be of some use with some of the experience I have with my version of Bubba Kush.
