SOIL First Outdoor Grow - Soil Question

Hey All - I've got 6 Shark Shock CBD (unsexed) vegging in my tent, in 1gal pots sitting in a Happy Frog/coco getting pH'd water every 3 days. They're about 2 months from seed. I was hoping to be able to sex them before using the KindSoil method (supersoil on bottom, potting soil to fill) but don't want to buy the expensive supersoil for the males. They are getting pretty rootbound and I'm hoping to pot up within the week. Any females are going to friends with sunny yards (legal here), and I'll take clones from the best looking female. A few questions for you outdoor/soil growers:

1. Other than making my own supersoil, is there a KindSoil (just water it) alternative? Is MichiganMadeMix similar? These aren't cheap, but I'm done mixing nutes
2. Any preferred filler potting soil for my 5gal outdoor water-only fabric pots? OceanForest? I know cocoloco and roots organic are recommended but my local shops don't have them.
3. Can I expect the plants to show sex before they start flower? I see what I hope to be a calyx on 1 of the 6 plants, but can't wait too much longer to pot up.

Thanks in advance!

For sexing them, if you're able, you can take a cutting from each plant, throw em in a glass of water (I use mugs/ceramic) and create a 12 hour dark photoperiod for them. I keep them on the kitchen windowsill for their light period.

Good idea, I'll try that (earlier next time). How long does it take them to show sex sitting on the windowsill? Unfortunately the plants are revolting and need new shoes now, so I'm going to pot up at least 3 of the 6.
