Finally getting back to this.

Took 44g of trim and made some killer canna butter.

After hanging for 10 days I put it in small pickle jars.

Each jar holds 14g total yield was 1lb (plus the 44g of trim)

These might look a little rough but I only make edibles.

Can't wait to make up some canna caps off of this!!

Got any special process or anything "cap" related you'd like to share? On my first indoor grow with a high CBD strain for the wife mostly. She doesn't like smoking much at all so we're looking into caps. Do you use oils or fine grind and pack the caps?

I don't smoke or vape.
Coconut oil capsules, or edibles made with coconut oil or canna butter.
the only way I go.
As far as process, i have followed many recipes, and made some mods.

My current go to.
Decarb the cannabis, wash with everclear for 15 min, strain, save the alcohol, repeat with a second wash.
strain again and combine the two washes.
I then heat the alcohol (using a double boiler) to evaporate, leaving the RSO.
I then add sunflower lecithin and my coconut oil.
I use an oral syringe to fill my gel caps.

My portions may not work for you.
I use 1 oz plant material to 150 ml of coconut oil.
My capsules hold 0.9 ml so this works out to about 165 capsules
We take three right before bed and sleep well.

Love the last 2 words in your post “sleep well”. Is the coconut oil the kind that stays liquid or does it re-solidify. I have been hoping to make these for the last few months and have not yet done it, that annoys me because I have only me to blame. Have you tried stuffing th caps with ground bud? Do you think it works as well?

My Coconut oil is solid at room temperature.
Although it has a very low melting point (maybe 80°f)
I store my caps in old vitamin containers in the fridge
I have heard about decarbing then grinding very fine and putting it directly into capsules
Haven't tried that yet, not sure now my stomach would take ground herb.

In a lazy attempt to try that route, I took a 3 gram bud and downed it with a 12oz glass of water. The dried and decarbed flower latched on the back of my throat to where I thought a hindlick maneuver wS needed. Enough coughing and choking brought it up and than did it again with a bit more grace, woke up with dizziness and out of focus about 3 hours. Not really all that much fun for sleep
