hello all, so i will soon be starting my first indoor grow, and have a question. what do i do with the run-off water. do i empty it shortly after watering? or just let it sit in the pan and reabsorb into the fabric pot?
You never want to let your plant sit in stagnant water runoff. you should water it until it runs off and then wait until they dry up ,roots like to get oxygen. When your plant is running off you should pick it up wet and you'll get to know by the weight of the pot when it's dried out and needs watered.
AA good rule of thumb is let the top of the soil dry out until it's dry down to your first knuckle deep.
I I would recommend a new grower as nebula recommends that you should start growing in Coco coir. You should look into her transplanting guides as well
