SOIL First Indoor Grow Time Lapse (5.5 months in 47 seconds)

I know it was and I appreciate the effort you put in to do it and then share it with us. I'm not very tech or camera savvy, how cheap can one find a camera/setup capable of doing this?
 
I did it on the real cheap.. used an old iPhone I had kicking around, plus a cheap clip-on fisheye lens and a free app. Plus a crude clamp. Was a nice little project to tinker with. Cutting the black frames from the raw images did get my head scratching though (the phone took one photo every hour)... but who needs to know anything about video editing when we have Google :0)
 
Yes definitely! You might not even need a lens depending on your setup. Just a phone plugged in on a gorilla pod or something.
