First Harvest..Any Tips?

I have 3 Northern Light auto girls that will be coming down over the next 2-3 weeks...I've read suggestions like don't water for a few days before, keep her in the dark, etc. Anybody have any tips for my first ever harvest?

Let her dry right out - check the trichomes - if she's not ready water her, but forget the nutes - a tea blend or molasses, or just plain pHed water.

Make sure the trichomes are where you want them to be before chopping.

Let her dry right out before chopping.

I've tried the darkness for 24 hours - some do it for 48 - didn't notice any difference really.

I'll post some before and afters, definitely...just waiting for them to chunk up a bit more...the way things look now I'll likely harvest them over a 3-week period as they all seem to be on slightly different timelines...

Never grown an Auto, but here are my tips:

1) Harvest in stages
2) Be guided by the Trichomes
3) Flush
4) Never too late for molasses

For me, I got a better harvest and a better product. Some of the larfy stuff gets the light and tightens up. The later harvest has more amber.

They got me thinking. Also I got a curious as to if I can get a different experience from the exact same genetics and just a little more patience and there is a difference, for sure.
