Hi!
I kinda want to show off a bit but also I'm hoping for a little advice.
Here are some pics of my girl. She is a Feminised Seeds Super Iced Grapefruit and one day into week 8 of flower. The pics are from yesterday. I've been growing under a 250w HPS in Biobizz Allmix and feeding Biobizz nutrients plus Topmax in flower according to their instructions. Topped and used string for a little LST to get the shape.
I'll admit to having had a little taste already as I accidentally pulled off a small bud. I'm so ready for it!
My question relates to harvest. A week ago I judged the trichromes to be about 50-50 cloudy n clear so started the flush. To my eye, now, she's looking more cloudy than clear but she's still got white hairs all over the place. So should I continue the flush or feed a little more and start over?

Nice plants, big ole buds, looks to me like she is far enough along, all she needs is molasses and water, all the way to harvest, plus you want even have to flush. Unless you just want to, but in a week or two, she will be flushed with just water .

Great job for a first grow. You must have a green thumb 😉. Agree with everyone above. Leaves will start to fade and buds will only get fatter.
 
When you think you should water again or not - Don't water, let her dry right out and make her send everything to the buds. Leaves will yellow and whither and you don't have to care about that anymore cuz yer close.
 
Yeah - your welcome, just wish I would listen to myself. I always end up watering after I shouldn't and end up harvesting days later. I have no problem cutting them down but don't want to starve them to death?
 
Thought I'd wait til the harvest and cure was done before letting you all know how it went :)
All in all it was a 1.6oz harvest, dried and cured now and she's a nice smooth but heavy smoke. Not one to smoke if you have stuff to do!

​​​​​​Round two has begun. The SIG came from a pack of mixed mystery seeds so I've planted a second seed from that pack. Could be Critical, White Widow, Big Bang or Double Berry but I'm pretty sure its not another SIG as the seed was much bigger. To accompany my little seedling I also have a clone Strawberry Krusha which is currently putting down roots. Can't wait to see this strain in flower!!
 
you did a fantastic job, not only for a first timer, in general judging by the pics you did perfect. cant wait to see your next round :)
 
Here are my girls now, just under 4 weeks into veg. Plenty of training to keep the canopy roughly level. The clone has been an interesting experience. I have no idea how she'll turn out. The seed has grown wonderfully and also huge but short. I'm wondering if she might be an auto as there could be one in the pack. I might switch this week, or I might veg longer. I really can't decide!!

Here they are now just over 3 weeks into flower. Have had some problems with wpm but neem oil looks to have seen that off. I'm hoping for a nice easy ride into harvest around 6 weeks from now. I feel like I harvested too soon last time so I will wait longer this time round!

I've used the same soil as the first grow, plant magic for seedling and then Biobizz all mix. This time round though I have barely used any grow nutes, I think maybe twice I gave them the minimum. For flower I have fed at half strength every second watering and have just started to introduce Topmax today. From the looks of things the two plants are about the same size as my first, hopefully they'll produce about the same, or more ;)

Still no idea what the mystery seed could be. Its Double Berry, White Widow or Big Bang.
