Meijjiu 480w came in, as did my tent! Seeds arrived today as well, but I'm still waiting on nutes and coco.

How does the light positioning look?

You can set the fan outside of the tent and duct into the filter. Saves a bit of heat as long as the ducting isn’t too long or angled.
Where are you dumping your heat to?

I am going to vent out of a window. Im not sure exactly how hot it will get once everything is fired up?

I also have a window air conditioner i could install as well, though im not sure where i could vent out then? Or could you have the vent above the air conditioner ( since heat rises?)

As for mounting the driver outside the tent, I might be able to do that. I see people mount the driver to the back of the heatsink, so I didnt think itd get that hot.

I would either exhaust air or seal it in and use the AC. If you ventilate and use AC, you will be venting the AC air out... this would be rather expensive to run like that.

So with the a/c you just vent into the room? What kind of room temps do you need to be able to rely on ventilation for your cooling needs? Right now temps are easily adjustable. During hot days in the summer, i dont have central air so room temps can climb to 28 celcius .

28 C will be high, because your lights are going to make it hotter. My set up raises temps about 5 - 8 deg (we are talking F though) above ambient. I try to keep my room under 75F with lights on.
Yeah, you can vent into the same room if you are cooling with AC. In large scale commercial indoor grows, some people vent into a completely separate room (they call it the lung room) and just cool that room with AC.

Ill have to keep an eye on temps and the forcast and have the a/c ready. Ill vent outdoors until the outside temps go beyond ~ 21 (72f) or so.
ill also look at relocating the driver if possible. I appreciate the replies.
