First Grow Near Harvest - How Do Trichomes Look?

Hey Everyone,

After a long grow full of beginner mistakes it looks like I'm still going to finish with smokeable buds here! woohoo

On the left is a Black Cherry Jelly and on the right is a Melonade strain. I know the Melonade leaves are all damaged but the buds look pretty nice on the trichomes!

Can you fellas check out the photos and let me know what you think? I'm trying to harvest with mostly cloudy trichomes and would like your opinions. I have a jewler's loupe but I find it very hard to use so I took some macro shots with my camera. I'm on day 53 of flowering.

What she said. You'll have to take pics in natural light. When looking at your trichomes make sure they're buds and not leaves because leaves lie. It is hard to see em at first it takes practice but unless you have a digital microscope we probably won't be able to judge them in a pic but we'll try

Yeah my grow light has a purple/pink tint to it. Here's some with my camera's flash.
