So I'm on day 55 from seed and I'm a little worried about the bud formation on the main stem being too close to get good air movement, leading to potential bud rot. I positioned the cluster right in front of the intake fan which is a light breeze at best. The stems are very short and sturdy so bending is risky business. What do you guys think? Other than that things are going wonderful!

I wouldn't think you would have to be concerned about mold, no???

Ok, looked at pics again on my computer instead of on the phone. It's hard for me to really see in the pink light, but what you want to do is remove any leaf that's laying on a bud or blocking light from above. I mean, I don't trim my sugar leaves, and the lower buds seem to ripen fine. But like Nebula says, interior leaves that block light.

Do you think she can thrive without the rest of the fan leaves at this stage? I've been skeptical about taking the rest of them. I'm trying to keep as many sugar leaves as I can for edibles.

Ok, I looked closely at the shots from above, and you are right; some of those colas might be a little close together, but I think if you keep a close eye on things, you will immediately see if there's a problem.

If you can take interior fan leaves that block buds or touch them, like I wrote yesterday, but leave the exterior ones who aren't hurting anyone.

If it gets too close and crowded, consider removing a couple of bud sites to exploit growth of the others. If it's not too close/crowded, leave em. I say that remembering on my sativa grow how I finally arrived at the decision to remove three plants (sob) and leave one, the strongest, so she could take over the grow box. Which she did.

You are keeping humidity down and you have your fan going; I think for a controlled, indoor grow, you are gonna be good. You just don't want leaves laying on leaves or buds.

Thanks for all your help ATU! I went through and clipped what was laying on top of each other the best I could. I also removed some of the lower bud sites that were far behind the top sites. Hopefully she will put more energy upwards.

Got her all set up in her new home! I'm so excited. It's a lot less crowded. I'm able to leave the air pump outside of the tent to bring colder air to the res so that's a huge win in my book. The fan really moves air through the tent so I think my temperature from here on is under control without the ac unit. The carbon filter is run outside of the tent to save room.

Dude, on the pic it looks like you are blocking the LED's fan on top with the hanger ropes?...maybe move them so it can vent properly.....otherwise looks good:)

ATU I ordered another circulation with the pole clip attachment so It's off the res :). And thanks for seeing the ropes Vapo I completely missed that

I was able to get some decent trich pics with the jewelers loop. Still have a ways to go, but I'm seeing some amber here and there. I'm going to harvest on the earlier side of the window. I prefer the get up and go smoke.

A couple days into week 9 and things are going great. Loving the new tent. Temps stay between 74F-76F and the res temp stays at 68F, so I couldn't ask for better conditions. She got a res change last night and Grow has been completely cut out as per the feeding schedule. I'm hoping for 3 more weeks, but we will see. I plan to drop the RH down to 30%-35% at the end of the week.
