COCO COIR First grow: How much do I trim off?

I would let them grow out for now. They may need some support later on in the grow when the buds become great big heavy colas. Some people use yoyos to support the big branches. What I do is run some garden wire above the plants near the top of the tent then run a cotton string from the plant to the wire tied with a taught line hitch knot so the upward pressure can be adjusted.

I love my Yoyo's.

I hook them to light hanger straps, wrap them around light bars, hook they on the edge of light bars, stupid stuff.

When I'm not careful and accidentally knock one of the trip wires it sets off a cacophany of zip lines with yoyos flying in all directions into the canopy then I spend the next 15 m8nutes trying to find them hiding in the canopy. It makes for good canopy management.
