I'm not 100% on the stressed plant passing down Hermie trait. If you stress even the most stable plants, I'm almost certain they will herm. It's just a survival thing. But some plants just have weak Gene's (I suspect) that causes the herm. Excessive in breading would almost certainly cause it. Most of the herms I've had came from Reggie bagseed. Probably inbred for quite a few generations. Still killer bud grown properly, just too much attention

I've never delt or looked into the silver Tek. I always use regular seeds just because I feel nature got it right, and genetically modified (outside of selective breeding) isn't the way to do things. But I may be a little old school. I think the normal seeds are a bit more stable also because we're just starting out with the "playing god" thing and we just don't have it down yet to be able to reproduce nature in our extra bedrooms.
I'm not knocking the experimentation at all and glad science is expanding with the marijuana world. It looked really stagnant from the 80s- late 2000s. I'm just not 100% on the stability of chemically modified gene thing yet.
