First grow. Are they looking alright? Ready to be topped soon?

Ayahuasca Purple 21 days from sprout.

Plant A: 1 - 2

Plant B: 1-2-3-4-5-6

I am just wondering how they are looking so far and if they are ready to be topped soon. I plan on topping them and doing some LST. I read that they are ready to be topped when they have 4-5 nodes on them but my plants seem pretty small yet so idk. They are only about 5 inches tall right now.

Also, I repotted them a week ago, and about 10 minutes after repotting I dropped my fan on plant B. All the damage you see on the plant is from that fan and I am wondering if it looks like it’s recovering well. On picture 6 there is a yellow wilted leaf on the bottom of the plant that doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Should I just trim that off?

I would actually upload your pictures because most of us won't click links. This is prolly why no one has responded to your question. I personally wait until my plants get their 6th node before topping them and starting with training. Because it's your first grow I would recommend just topping between 5 n 6 allow the lower branches to develop and at most tie them down a little (lst-- low stress training) just to open up the branches for maximum light penitration. Learning how to water and feed is what I think are most important during the first grow because until you understand ph and ppm of what you are giving your plants they won't grow well no matter how you train them.

Agree with @measy on all points.
I wouldn’t trim off anything when they are young unless it is pretty close to dead or if it is on its way to dead and shading out healthier leaves (excluding the trimming you will do for topping/manifolding but even then like meeasy said it can be beneficial to leave the lower leaves on a bit longer to help power it along). If it is a smooth leaf on the very bottom it will eventually die and fall off anyways. Those ones are called cotyledon leaves and they exist basically just to bootstrap the plant out of the seed and get it going, after those first 2 leaves you will start to see the fingered leaves you will be used to seeing.
