SOIL First ever grow, found bugs

Hello everyone,

This is my first time growing and while watering I noticed these little bugs. Can anybody tell me what they are? Or what to use to get rid of bugs? Tried to upload a video but unsuccessful.

Your plants look great..maybe a fraction over watered but nothing to be concerned about.

Those bugs another story and they will decimate your grow in quick time.

Looks like what people call The Borg here but commonly known as spider mites.

A multi pronged attack is required if you can get rid of them....research here

I use ISO and water, whichever you choose spray ever 3 days for at least 3 treatments and then watch closely for their return. Outdoor long term is ladybugs.

I would take a layered approach. If no webs are present I would mix up an insecticidal soap solution and thoroughly spray down the plants both on top but especially on the underside where mites like to lay eggs. You want the plant dripping the solution off its leaves. Give the soil top a good spray to kill any eggs that may be in the soil.

Insecticidal soap recipe

1 gal of water
1 cup of Dawn dish soap
1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Mix it all in a sprayer and apply.

If webs are present you'll need to go nuclear on them and use a harsher remedy. I like using Azamax but you can use other miticides like Dr. Zymes. Multiple applications will be needed to control the infestation.
