First attempt at defoliateing my plants

So this is the end of week 2 in 12/12 the plant on the left is ice came from a clone and the right is a mystery indica seed. Both are showing flowers for the last 2 days. I just took off the giant leaves the ice plant I think I can and should take some more off but I'm not sure. The mystery seed didn't have much that needed to be taken..

I would have taken a little more off the right side of the ice but they look fine. .The mystery seed plant looks perfect in my opinion but some like to take more off and some less. Maybe a few less lower leaves on both.Personal preference does have something to do with it and different strains react differently to light or heavy pruning. Good job..

Yea I was wanting to take more from the ice plant my mystery plant is kinda what I want the ice plant to look like but I didn't know if I should do more now or not but I knew to take less then to much.

There fine. Your getting to the end of the window ( 3 weeks or so) when you want to be removing leaves in flower. I wouldnt remove anything at this point unless its blocking a bud site and its to big to just " tuck " out of the way. But like I said, everyone has there own opinion on defoliating.

Ducthman is right everyone has there own way of doing it me I take most if not all fans during 3rd week of bloom here's a before and after defole and the same plant 2 weeks later, they do fill back in but as you can see there is no shade at the bottom of the plant

5 days after defoliateing. They started making buds the day after I defoliated I am impressed the seedling on the right is growing tall!

Good job.
