No more stressing about speeding home on time to shut lights out. Got this today at the last second. Was about to walk put of the store and I walked right by it. Lucky me!
Yes a timer is one of the 1st things to git when startin a grow but from experience...... I threw all my hyper tough shit in the trash cause it's TRASH!!!! Read the rating & stay WAY BELLOW MANUFACTURERS recomendation!!!!
Anything electrical from Walmart is about as dangerous as you can git!!! Even the extention cords git hot runnin nothin but a box fan & a vacuum. I feel safer with stuff from the dollar store. & I would obviously never buy anything from the dollar store.
Sorry if that grinds yer axe..... I ain't tryin to be an ass.... just hoping to prevent you a tent fire & say that I dodged a bulllet when the switch on a 6 strip failed & got me lookin into what I had goin. It cost me over $200 to replace all the slime bag low life Walmart shit hyper tough garbage I had purchased.
Nah JDU you're right. It'll do for the moment (6 weeks left) but I'm gonna get something better. Luckily I got home early tonight bevause the timer didn't even click off at 9 P.M. I don't know if I set it wrong or if I just have to pull one more tab up cause it goes in 30 minute intervals.
Don't git me wrong..... as long as you stay well under the approved usage they are probly ok.... I wasn't under that rating. & when the switch failed I panicked & to be honest I'm glad I did. Maybe use 2 or 3 & spread the load would be ok.....?? Idk.... ??
Well I only have one plant so it'll take care of it. Just gotta figure out how to set the time off properly. I didn't think an analog timer would be so tedious to set up lol.
