What's good people????
my name is Rob but due to my birthday i'm known as Born On 420
i'm a NEWBIE but i been smokin for a long tyme since tha days of tray bags n Thai Stick i should have bee growin for a long tyme
FINALLY got tired of smokin GARBAGE!!!!! FINALLY got tired of payin way tooooo much for way tooooo lil weed i tried growin before that was a Total Disaster i thought i was i man n could start off usin hydroponics boy was i wrong that was about 2 years ago
FINALLY I'm back this tyme i studied i read n have books i did research on products i been all over tha net
I see that there is a lot of KNOWLEDGE WISDOM N COMEDY here so i am here to soak a lot of that up as Finally i'm ready to Walk Tha Stairway To Heaven and i will need some ASSISTANCE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally about to get it started rite now i have 5 auto seed GERMINATING in water then to soil i hope they pop tha seeds look so small if they don't i'm goin to be 1 mad blackman!!!!!!!!!!!!
i been buyin things for months Finally i got all that i need again i hope these seeds pop

Have you read the low stress training in the gwe website...
That's a great place to start when learning how to increase yield!!
Kind soil huh...and organics....this will throw you some curves.... you will have to be very attentive to the health and how you water them....we have a very fine grower on here that is competent and versed in the way of kind soil... (royal nugs)..so good luck we all will be here when needed.....

Welcome to the GWE forum Rob. It definitely sounds like you're ready.

One thing you you need to check is your water ph. While the kindsoil system buffers your ph, the input water still needs to be in a certain range. For instance, my tap water comes out at 8.3, which is too "sweet" for the plants. I use earth juice crystals ph down to calibrate to 6.5. Seems to be the sweet spot.

5 gallon pots are big! Might be overkill, I seriously doubt you will need a full 5 lbs of kindsoil for an auto grow.

The most critical part is not overwatering to the point of runoff. I ran into deficiencies in the middle of flowering due to an overwatering incident which leeched out all of the goodies in the soil.

I have a question... why roots and black gold for filler media? Why not one or the other?

Hi Rob Welcome aboard ship!

I have to drill you on your PH work, it's what makes the plant eat and get fat.

The first grow is a killer time stops and you're wanting that harvest yesterday, so take a deep breath and ask here before doing any major things.

Save time and money and don't do anything drastic watch the plants they let you know in minutes if something is wrong . Have patience it's a great virtue! :wink:

20 years from now, they will be a special section at the grocery store, like there is now for gluten free. A thc / cbd food section.
