My finally set up besides me needing a fan.. black gold soil, 1000 watt giixer full spectrum light, have used one time super thrive when repotted, have light timer.. is there anything else I’m missing?? Besides the fan.. any suggestions will help out!!! N plant is doing great!!!

Next big question I don't think we talked about. What is your seed? Auto, photo, or feminized? If it's bagseed, figure photo, hope for feminized.
How big is your box? Your light is going to heat that space up like an Easy-Bake oven. Plan on at least a fan in the back to blow heat out when the tent is open. What are you doing for ventilation?

I am pretty sure that once that seedling enters veg you can throw that light away. I suspect it is garbage and will not provide sufficient light for your plant
I doubt very much it is a 1000W light. It's not! I doubt it meets electrical safety requirements in any developed country.

That's why I was asking about how big the space is. Specs say it's a 135-watt [output] light. But the specs also say it's good for 3.5x3.5 coverage.
As far as everything I’ve read n researched bout this light n everyone reviews and everything said bout it was great! My plant doin 100 times better with the new light.. big time growers I’ve researched used this light.. I’ll definitely keep a eye on it.. thank u for ur response my man!
My space for my grow I’m not really sure I kinda just winged it and just built it and hoping for the best.. and my seed was just a random that came out some exotic bud so I’m hoping it’s fem.. n I will be getting a fan soon as I can!! But as far as the light goes everything I’ve read n researched bout came back great especially for a single plant like mine…

A little snobbery comes when talking about someone's light. Reviews are taken with a grain of salt because people often get paid to write them. A lot of us started out buying advertised 1000 watt lights before realizing they were not 1000 watt lights.
You are in a small space, so it looks like that light is good enough for one plant. If you continue to grow, a natural thing is to upgrade things along the way.

What size is your grow space? Can you measure it please?
I am happy to put you on the right track re budget lighting that works well and is most efficient for the future if you give me that info.
Your light has 2 fans. That is a potential point of failure and not efficient either. Also noisy. It is not the way to go.

Your plant looks fine but once you get to about week 3 of the grow it won't be able to give your plant enough light.
Read up on light on the GWE website. Download an app called PPFD Meter onto your phone and take measurements and compare your measurements to what a plant needs.
The very best that light can do is about 650 PPFD and that's only in the very centre and when measured pretty close. You need more than that right across the canopy. I mostly grow photoperiods and aim for anywhere from 900 to 1300 across the canopy depending on strain. Sativas will handle a lot of light.
Autos you can do with less given a 18/6 schedule, around 650 to 700 across the canopy, not just in the very middle which is all your light will do.

I’m using a light meter for the lux also.. and the whole enclosure is wrapped in reflective material.. so it is getting light all around the plant I can put my hand over the plant n it’s still lit up with no shade.. I’ll download that app ur talkin bout im at work so can’t respond to much as of right now.. n this is just a random seed I’m growing out some exotic.. 18 hours of light n 6 hours of dark on a steady timer..

Some one had a $ store run w/ all the sun shade visors...Good choice maybe some foil tape and tidy the seams up for more even reflection.. I would be sure the light is on a GFCI recpticol and good power bar as you will require fans.
Tent looks tall so with a 4 " exhaust fan you should be good.. Might want a carbon filter - I think it good to point out that Fabric Pots really provide a lot of benefit.
You will want some of the $ store rubber tie downs and have a read on Nebulas Manifolding Article.

Perhaps some of the soil growers here will recommend some nutes for you...I only grow in coco with GH trio and stuff.

As an indoor coco grower who has used a carbon filter, they are only effective when the tent is closed, they take up a lot of space for a small grow area, and they make a lot of noise.

Back in another post, there was a mention that seedlings do not need any nutrients and should be worked up to full nutes to avoid toxicity.
About your high nitrogen. You are adding nutrients to a fresh soil which means your seedlings have a good chance of burn.
Keep an eye on the plant. Find another neutral light that is not blurple. It is hard to keep an eye on the health in that light.​

After that first time i haven’t add since yall told me not to do that it will cause burns from to much.. and the light has 3 modes one white light blue light n red light all 3 on is full spectrum grow light so anytime I can switch it to take a look at the plant.. im on top of this every day making sure nun wrong lol for my first time im trying lol just really hope its a female cause i hate to do all this for a male but great learning process!!!

Noone in this forum has ever come up with a reason why you shouldn't use veg and bloom lights throughout your grow. Newer, 'high-end' lights pretty much just have dimmer switches. Some of us don't even use those.
