Fim and Topping Questions

I FIM'd all my clones coming up after seeing the ones i started from seeds that i topped they look awesome so many bud sights and busy stuff! so i tried FIMing the clones i had and they weren't doing anything i don't believe it breaks the a symmetrical of the plant or something so i ended up topping them did i make the right choice? they were fim'd for almost a week and didn't really see any decent growth? so either i messed it up or it didn't do what i expected so i topped them

I've been there. Seems like fimming is easy to mis. Ironic right ?? I've had plants just keep growing one main stem after a week of recovery so I'm all about topping. It's actually hard to do it wrong

agree'd =D 4 days wasted on a fim lol still got a another month to veg though untill my flower tent is opened up! i couldn't believe how many bud sites my topped ones have it completely blew me away sad i didn't top my flowering babies when i had the chance!
