HYDRO Female pre flower??

Today I decided to look for some pre flowers just cause it's getting close to time for them to show and I spotted this little thing. I looked at GWE for pics and they look fairly similar. From what I saw it's the only one on the plant. Nbd if I dont find out if it is cause I will eventually lol tia!

Yep that's a preflower...watch for white pistils to emerge. That's when I start counting flower time, by pistil day.

So what do you mean exactly when you say “flower time by pistol day”? Like I should watch for the pre flower pistols to reach a certain point and then switch to flower?

When I switch to 12/12 I watch for the pistils to appear. They may have pistils before they start flowering but sometimes flowers don't always follow if you keep them in veg.

Doesn't look like a preflower to me, but rather a new budsite emerging. Your plant is way too young to produce pre-flowers.

Hey alltatup, yeah, I'm not sure that's a preflower either. A couple of more days you will be able to tell.

It's too small to see, but I am quite certain that's no flower, but a new growth tip emerging. Sometimes pre-flowers sprout in veg. But far from every time, and never before vegging for at least 4 weeks, I would say 6 weeks.
You seem like a quite new grower, so I tell you this. You can't be certain it I s female pre flowers until the pistils are showing. After a couple of grows you may be able to tell an early male flower from a female one, but still it can be tricky. Especially if you grow a new strain.

Y’all are confusing the fuck outta me lol okay on the node there’s a bid site coming out of it. But at the base where I put the red circle, there’s a definitive structure coming out from the base. And it’s not a ball or pollen sac. These pics I posted are directly from GWE and you can’t tell me that my pics don’t resemble that.

Okay well I’m not too new. And I know all the 4 to 6 week stuff. Just saw it on my plant and was curious. I’m sure if it is then some pistols will emerge shortly. I’ll just keep an eye on it and let ya know.
