Female or male? First time growing

Thanks alot guys!! Your information has been very very helpful!! Considering its my first time ill just let her do her own thing but if you think i should change pot or put more soil in please tell me!! And any criticism is more than welcome!!

I think you would do well to keep reading and posting questions here because I think you missed a ton of growth by going right to 12/12. They will grow, but think about how much light any plant gets in the growing season. Many of us do 18_20 hours of light until we are ready to let the plant go into the flowering stages and that's when we go to 12/12.
 
Just plant some corn or some herbs distract the view and maybe plant a rose for the smell....Where did you get the seed? try some auto seeds for a quicker bloom.

Ditto what sonny just said. I learned soooooo much from reading the GWE tutorials and even more by reading and asking questions here at the forum. It's not too late to try to pull that one large stem down and out of the way. Other than that, just let her go. If you get any big fans leaves that are covering areas where you see a bud is forming, pluck that leaf so the light can get to it.
 
They still have some time that they have to grow vegetatively before they flower even if u start in 12/12. You'll get a larger plant and harvest if u do 18/6 for like the first 3 weeks
 
Yeah i agree with you guys about putting it on 12/12 too early. As it is the first time trying im still learning. Im reading everything about 5 times to make sure i get every bit of help!! And with pulling that big stem down do you mean like the top of the tree and tieing it down? Im open to any advice on what i should do! Should i trim it? I dont really want to do anything to it as im not very experienced and dont want to stuff things up? Does it matter if i cut leaves off aslong as its not where the hairs are coming thou? I still have alot too learn
 
Yea tie it down like a tree. Kinda like when they are gonna use it to slingshot someone in the cartoons lol. The only leaves you wanna cut are the bigger fan leaves and only if they are blocking a bud site
 
Okay i will tie it down and post a photo to make sure its right! If anyone has any photos of tieing them down so i can get a reference that would be really helpfull. Im planning on getting a bigger pot later this week so should i wait till ive done that?
