Hi guys.. another question .. how do you know when your babies NEED food?.. most say they will show signs of certain deficiencies.. but most symptoms that arise could be because of a multitude of different issues.. so my question is is there a way to tell WHEN your babies need a feed and what to feed them?.. 1st time gardener here.. any and all input greatly appreciated 👍

Hi Skunkbuster
It depends on what medium you are growing in. In most mediums, Cannabis plants should be given nutrients consistently throughout the grow. There is a lot of excellent information on the main GWE site. I recommend you start with this article:

If this is your 1st time, you may not have decided on a grow medium yet. I suggest that you consider Coco/Perlite and would point you to this article: http://www.growweedeasy.com/coco-coir

If you are growing in soil, please realize that most soils sold at garden centers are inappropriate for growing Cannabis. Read this: http://www.growweedeasy.com/what-soil-is-good-for-growing-cannabis

Spend some time reading the other articles as well. and feel free to ask here when you have specific questions.
Cheers!

If your plants show signs of a nutrient deficiency it's already been hungry for a while. If you have a ppm/tds/ec tester you can test the runoff water from your pot or the water in your reservoir to easily tell you when your plants are hungry
