SOIL Fat Banana Grow Diary/ Viparspectra R900 VS. Lumatek Attis 300W

Yeah that's part of why I don't do a mainline any more. Instead I use the quadlining technique, just topping once. My next ones I left between 4-6 nodes to grow out. I may top them once more since they have about 5 weeks of veg left but I'm not sure yet. Going for about 10 weeks of veg time and then the flip. Still trying to figure out how many will fill my 8x8 too. My guess is around 24 ladies total but it also depends on how wide the manifolds get. Your girls look good though, nice and plump. I think you'll get your 220g. I got 103g off my single hydro plant with a lot of popcorn buds and chopping a week or 2 early. All my recent grows have been quadlined and if done right you can still get the 8 colas without wasting the extra time from topping more than once. It's a little harder to do with clones because of the uneven nodes, but it's still possible. Hell, some of my clones came out better than my quadlined girls with very little done other than topping. Still trying to see what works best for me but I think I'm almost there. I also started off with the mainlining technique, never grown one out naturally so I don't know what a normal plant would yield for me. I don't know if I will be trying a normal grow any time soon, probably only if I do an outdoor grow next summer. Can't wait to see your results.
 
Yea I have always did it like you describe.
Top once and maybe cut the number 1 node, (the lowest) then just let it grow with a good LST.
For me 10 weeks in veg, is way too much. I admire people who wants to do it. I really do, but it’s not for me. I can almost make 2 grow runs on that time, and pretty sure I would yield more in the end..
one plant have 8 colas and the rest have 6 colas.
It’s not the colas that irritates me or the number of them. It’s the size compared or the last grow who only got 6 weeks of veg.
Maybe I’m just in a dark place right now, and can’t see the good in this grow. But honestly I’m really not impressed of what I’m doing here..
If I let them grow as my outdoor plants, they will yield pretty good. But I know from my experience. 1 top and then defoliation with lollipop gives me the best results.

Yea I just can’t wait to start a new grow to be honest. Let’s see the results as you say. But right now, it’s not the 10 weeks in veg worth it. Damn I’m depressed 🤣. But who wouldn’t be with this grow right now...
 
The Vipar gave me 220g last time.
Now I have 2 lamps. So I’m definitely going to be depressed if I’m under 350 grams. For the whole grow..
my goal was 400. That is not going to happen 🤦🏼🤦🏼
 
dphipps1020 here is the 5 vipar plants.
As I was saying. I don’t think they will get me more than 220, maybe only 200 g 🤦🏼

You never know though, they could always surprise you at the end. They look fatter than my current ones were at that point, and with a lot more buds. I definitely won't be getting my 20 oz out of this one like I thought. I harvested a few a little early and I feel like I should have waited 2 weeks. Still hoping for a pound though. Not sure if it will happen but it should be close. My autoflowers didn't do as well as I thought either. The Blueberry have some fat, dense buds, but I don't think I'll get 2 oz from them together. The Amnesia came out a little better, should get 2 oz, maybe a little more for the 2. One Amnesia I had to put in the flower tent with the rest so it would flower so I'm not sure what I'll get there. The White Widows are looking a little more promising than the last few grows, shorter but with tighter nodes. Won't be a huge harvest this time, but I'll get some good WW from it at least. Cutting the mother WW down in the next week I think.
 
you are right. They can maybe surprise me, but I hardly doubt it with my depressing mind😅
It’s always hard to see after the harvest that you should have waited 2 more weeks. But when the jars are empty, it can make you harvest a little earlier - in my experience.

Autos are always hard. All the grows I had with them was way different from the previous. Some gave me 60-80 g of dried weed, some only 28 (1 ounce)
Even if I did the same with them or the same strain. Why I switched to photos instead.

But I have seen your grows for a while now, I think you will get close to what you expect 😁
 
I was trying to let the rest go longer but I think they're mostly done now. Some of them are stinky 😂 They came from some Blueberry Headband that I grew and must have crossed with something else, thinking maybe the TK91 I had in there. Has a nice purple and green to it too, cut most of those down. Calling those ones Blueberry Stank 😂 I still have a few that I am letting stay but I think they're just regular Blueberry Headband. I'll have to look when they wake up.
 
I think it was a local bred/grown strain at about 36% THC, I think. I'll have to find the baggie of seeds to find out for sure, I wrote it on there. The Str8 Lemonade I had around the same time was at 33% THC too I think. Definitely kept the seeds and I have those strains as mothers right now.

Ohh yea. You’re right. But I was referring too the amount of weeks they need and not the size of them.
I was hoping I would be done in 7 weeks total. But it seems like it’s going to be 8-9 weeks instead. Which disappointing, because I’m depressed😂👍🏻
 
I was a little off. Str8 Lemonade is at 23.3% but was really good and was a hit with my friends so I kept it. And TK91 was 26% which is still fairly high and was a good smoke all around.
 
dphipps1020 CaptainWiese91 I just purchased various 27-30% thc strains; have you noticed this recent surge in stronger strains coming out? And some that I'm growing now are purported to be in the 27-29% range; I can't wait to see if I can get close to that mark!!!!!
 
Yeah the GSC I have is supposed to get around 28% THC and a little CBD too. I haven't really noticed because I just started buying seeds. But I did notice for a while I was getting weed with 28%+ THC from the dispensary.
