No I don’t want to grow seeds.
It’s to easy just buying the seeds and get started. And I never want to smoke the same strain twice, the reason why I don’t keep mother plants.
200g of one strain and I’m bored 🤣.
So I think it’s going to be an auto tent - I let you grow the seeds 😁

Looks good man. I'll be following along. I'm waiting on an answer back but it looks like I'll be doing a test on a new light, new light in a 4x4 and my lights in another 4x4 doing a side by side test with clones, same feed same training. And when I'm done I have an 1800dollar light so it's worth my time I think.

Yea i was tired of the Way the plants longest away was stretching “in over” to the light. So I just sowed the seed near the edge on that pot, which is going to end up in the corner. So now it’s receiving the “middle” light just to get a better start up, before going to the corner in a few weeks

Weekly update!
The last plants under the Lumatek got their first topping a few days ago. And they are actually growing bigger than my Vipar plants, the main stem is thicker on the lumatek plants than on the vipar plants, even though the lumatek plants are 16-18 days younger than the others.. So the Lumatek lamp is doing a pretty good job! They like the light !

Some plants under the viper already got their second topping. So they are actually pretty set to go! I will get 6 main colas and this I what I was going for. They just need to get bigger now - my job is almost done with the training on these.

The mutant is ready. No more topping either. I made 8 colas on the mutant, because i didn’t have the “extra” nodes on it, like the other normal plants.

They are still only getting water with cal mag, no nutes at all. And they love the tomato soil. 5$ dollar soil, incredible!

& thanks a million for the tomato soil tip!!! Not only did I find the best dirt out there - At a nursery- $25/yd but it grounded me. My plants are doin SOOOO MUCH BETTER since I relaxed & just gardened.
Btw I'm gonna laugh my ass off when your little mutant out produces em all!!!

If this mutant is going to be the biggest producer- I’m laughing my ass of too😂
It seems like every time I have a “favorite” plant in the grow. It always ending up with another plant that is doing so much better or produces more. So I’ve stopped the game of having a “favorite”

Weekly update !
currently week 6 for the Vipar plants (purple light)
and week 4 for the Lumatek plants (yellow’ish light)

Im done with the last topping! Wee!! Now I just need to use LST the rest of the veg grow and I’m adjusting daily. You can see the stems on the new grow after the 2. Topping on the lumatek plants, are not long enough to be tied down and away from each other, but I give it 3-6 days and then I can do it.
they are currently growing pretty well!

Still hasn’t used any kind of nutrients yet. ONLY cal-mag so far and some voodoo juice. I was expecting to start using some soon, but the plants are healthy and they are not showing any kind of deficiency yet, so I’m not going to give it them.

Lumatek lamp is doing a really great job !! I still think it’s worth the money ! And even more worth the money than the vipar spectra.
the plants seems to like this kind of light a bit more than the blue/red/white light from the viparspectra.

15-20 days younger are the lumatek plants. And still the main stems are thicker and bigger than the viparspectra plants.

From now on I just need to let them grow and adjust the LST, I have enough room, so I’m thinking they need to be double the size, they have now.
maybe going to take whole august before I flip to 12/12 🤔

So it’s week 10 for the Vipar plants and week 8 for Lumatek plants.

I switched to 12/12 yesterday. So from now on I will count “days after switch” instead of “weeks”

Day 1 after 12/12
I decided to make the switch because they stems are fairly thick actually and I think (and hope) they will produce some nice colas.

STILL no nutrients have been added. Amazing if I must say. Spared all my veg nutes this round with a soil for 4-5$ a bag,
I do have noticed a little potassium deficiency on one of the Lumatek plants, nothing I’m worried for, because I’m adding some CANNA PK 13/14 next feeding, not much just a 1/4 strength.
But 8-10 weeks without nutrients is really good !

As I mentioned in the start of the grow. Doing a main line is my first time. I always just topped once with a combination of defoliation and lollipop. I gained huge amount of experience this grow already because of the mainline and now I know what to do 100% correct next grow, which was also the reason why a flipped the switch yesterday. Because I know I can do it better next time, so why not finish a little earlier.

9 plants of the same strain and none are drinking the same amount of water. 😂 some drinks really a lot, they like the cal mag and voodo juice. And some only wants the half amount of water. A little more attention needs to be done with 9 instead of 5 plants.

Plants already have female parts because of the long veg period, so I expect to see flowering parts within 4-6 days.

Todays round with pictures is mostly from above. The bud porn
begin in a couple of weeks.
