SOIL Fat Banana Grow Diary/ Viparspectra R900 VS. Lumatek Attis 300W

When i started out I didn't know that the same strain could show different phenotypes The Fat bananas have been an eye opener for me with how different they have grown both in shape of leaves and as I'm now seeing, also in the way the buds are forming and looking.
I'm sure you got it right and your buds look real nice off all plants you have harvested so far.
The Critical Crack was a freebie along with a white widow i had which i lost early on which in hindsight has benefitted me as i don't think i would have had the room for another plant in my tent. Still shame though been along time since i smoked a good quality white widow.
 
Honestly I don’t think that much of white widow. I think most people like it in here because it’s a “old strain” “classic” strain. But the Thc content is not near what you see in other new strains.. This does not mean the taste isn’t good at all. But I’m a bit tired of all the “classic” strains. Northern lights, white widow, blueberry etc.
All the new ones are so more exiting to try😁🤣
 
I think I have to agree there. White Widow is good smell and flavor-wise but lacks a little in the high. Still can't wait to see what I get from mine though. I've been smoking on the mother cause she's been done for a little while, curing in the bags still, and it's pretty good. Tested it a few times with the HiGrade app and it came up as what I'm going to call 17-18% THC. My smallest plants only have a few main colas but I should still get 14+g from them, and the bigger ones I'm guessing some will be a little more than 28g. Fat, dense buds on them all though, definitely a higher yielding strain I'd say. I weighed the top buds from the mother just to see what I had, and because they are decent sized buds, and I ended up with 14g just from 7 buds. I have bigger ones on some of the clones so I'm curious what my total will be. Patience is not my strong suit, especially in the last weeks before harvest.

Well a High yielding strain can be good, and then the lack of potent can be accepted then. Patience is not my strong side either. But it’s worse with the cure than the harvest.. my weed is curing to slow 😂😂. And we entered the raining season now, it’s awful. Just on the drying rack it takes 5 more days now to get proper dry before cure.. I’m not a fan
 
Yeah I can give up a little potency for a higher yield. Curing doesn't matter to me much, I will smoke it if it's dry enough 😂. Longer dry is good though, makes the smoke a little smoother. All my WW clones are under 60cm tall but I'm thinking 7 oz from 10 tiny plants. Definitely got less from other strains at the same height.

It's been over 10yrs since I smoked White widow and I guess I had a particularly good one. It was so frosty you had to break it open to see any green knocked me about a bit but there again my tolerance wasn't as high back then.
There so many strains I'd like to try now but with so much choice it's hard to know what to choose

Couldn’t agree more. It’s like a fat kid in a candy store. Or a vegan in the vegetable section. It’s so hard to choose what to grow.
My two main preference is the content and yielding ability

Maximum 3-4 weeks after harvest I’m already starting to smoke the herbs 😂. Never had buds lasting longer than 3-4 months max! 😂.

7 oz from 10 plants is not bad at all. So yea the WW is a good yielder - maybe one to choose on day for me.

My tallest plant was 65cm in this grow. And from 5 plants, I have 220G still need to weigh the last 4. But I think I’m going to get around 400grams. Which is acceptable I think
 
With some of the names you could be in a candy store what with the sherbert and cotton candy cane lol
 
Just because we were talking about the White Widow... I took this a little while ago. You should definitely give it a try some day.

Thank you. Yeah I don't usually drink them but lately I have been. I measured that girl at 21 inches, one main cola and a smaller one, and a lot of big buds down the main cola. I think it's about a 12 week flower time on it.
 
Wow 12 week flower time, it’s pretty long😅. I’m more the 7-9 weeks flower guy 😂.
But WW is also a good 50/50 hybrid. (What I have read)
And a good yielder apparently - maybe worth the 12 weeks then
 
Yeah it's at 10 weeks today and still has a week or 2 to go. Will definitely be worth the weight (wait) 😂 and yes, it smells fantastic already.
