Hi... I was wondering... Maybe stupidly... But..... I have 2xfans in my lighting set up .. Only in a small grow tent.. 60x60x120 do i need to have another fan circulating air and an extraction fan too??
thanks
Dave✌

You may need an extraction fan if you don't already have one to prevent temps from getting too high.

Thankyou
the temperature in my tent is 76 degrees Fahrenheit and things are looking ok at the moment and i was worrying about adding a fan as that will drop the temp??? I'm confused as what I've been researching every grow tent has a fan plus an extraction fan .... This is my 1st grow ever and I'm worried i may be doing things wrong!
cheers
Dave✌

Adding both would be ideal. You need an extraction fan to get fresh air in your tent. And a circulation fan to help avoid hot spots, a little clip fan works fine. As small as the tent is (I have one that size too) it's easy to get hot spots with certain lights. You don't need something really high powered, a cheap 4" duct fan has been working fine for me. Hope that helps

Yes, extraction fans remove heat and used air. A fan blowing over the plants helps the plants breathe easier... remember plants don’t have a forceful exhale. So the used air will sit stagnant around the plant unless it is blown away from it.
