Fan leaves

So I have got about 10 nodes growing on my plant. About 8 dominant nodes. But I still have most of my fan leaves. Should I cut them off? Is it just wasting energy?

Well I have before & after pictures. The site keeps telling me the extension for the file doesn't match the content. I'll try uploading again later on. Thanks guys.

No Title

Well I finally got it to upload. Wound up having to take a screenshot. There's the before and after.

Do you think I should top first? Maybe give it an extra cola? Or do you think it's good to tie off as it is. Also I left the very top fan leaves on hoping it wouldn't stunt the newer growth. Should i go ahead and cut it to?

Nah...that's enough for today...top...that's up to you...
We can accomplish the same thing without cutting...
....???
...decision time...

Stay vigilant with trimming of fan leaves...she will blow up after her trim and tie down....

My rule of thumb...if a spot offers two...take one

Hmmm in not quite understanding what you mean. I'm sorry. Do you mean to cut one fan leaf off out of every 2? And just stay consistent with it.

Yes...

You can leave the ones not covering a bud site for awhile to watch big healthy leaves grow....but cut them when you are done enjoying them

Cut a few every other day....keep her used to the blade

Pull that top down as far as it will go...little more each day till you can flatten her out

Got it. So is the outcome of this to have the main stem naturally horizontal so it will grow kinda flat and bushy?

Awesome. I have another question. I just tired down but I had the plant centered pretty good. Will it be a problem if it kinda grows off set to the pot?

Not at all...you can fill in the pot area with tied down branches as they grow...just pull that direction and tie down...

Check out my baby tika thread...whole thing...you will get a better ideal of what to look for
