I'm pretty sure it's the dirt. I built it early and let it sit. And forgot what was in it. First signs looked like over-watering and I paid a lot of attention to that. (So I don't think it's root rot.) But the soil was reading pH 7.5 or more and something seemed to be buffering it. One thing I never did was a super flush only regular 20% runoff. I watered with 5.5 and and that seemed to help during veg but I think overly fast growth was still a symptom. I didn't think the growth was too fast during training, I just thought it was doing good. But I did as soon as I stopped training and let the stems go up. The leaves started looking really bad the more it flowered.
The plant amazes me. Maybe the buds aren't fat but they do look rich. I expect a tasty harvest just not what it could have been. I'm encouraged to do a re-do and bought more seeds. (Twenty20 Trizzlers) and will make better soil.
I had a gallon of the soil and used it for half of one of the Whisky Zulu pots. My markings fell off but one of the WZ show faster growth as well so I think it was that one. The fast/tall growth is cool but not at the extent of health.
So talking it through I thing I should do a super flush on the Whisky Zulus. The Trizzlers is probably a week or two away from harvest, would a super flush hurt it at this point?
