Fan leaf cupping

I thought this might have been a light issue. Last night, the tallest plant was cupping so I moved it farther from the light and all tops were within an inch of each other. It looked good this morning.
Yesterday, I also posted in another thread that it looked like I was having Ntox going on with the down-curled leaf tips. They got good flushes of pH'd 6.0ish CalMag water, no nutes, and the tips got better within a few hours.
Since putting the plants out at 9:00 this morning these three plants have decided to go back to cupping. GDP, Zkittlz, and G-13. They are in one gallon, plastic pots which are outside temperature. The fourth plastic, one gallon is the Black Domina. She is not showing any symptoms. I have another two gallon, plastic that is showing no symptoms. The fabrics are fine.
What I see on the website is this looks like a heat issue. If it's happening outside, in a breeze, 71°, 52% humidity... I don't know what to say next. I can't move the plants much farther from the sun and they already have good circulation.
Are these just super badass healthy plants?

Keep them hydrated. Windy conditions will cause them to cup to conserve moisture. Don't sweat it they look healthy.
 
I see you are in control here. A nice tone of green(healthy). After all I know what I'm talking about non ?

Oh yes ditto also with Going2fast.

I don't want to sound contradictory but canoeing is often a symptom of overwatering . Your plants don't seem to be cupping or clawing but do have distinctive canoeing going on. If you just did a flush it's possible that they're just too wet. Color looks spot on and you got some vigorous growth happening that looks healthy. It's been my experience as an outdoor container grower that heat issues most often occur not so much from the plant getting hot, but rather the soil heating up and harming roots and cooking off the beneficial bacteria in the soil. Take what I say here with a grain of salt because from what I've read of your new grow, you're growing in coco and that's kinda out of my wheelhouse. I use about 15-20% coco in my soil because it's so good at retaining moisture but that's the extent of my knowledge. Hope it works out -
 
Thanks crucialbunny . I'm not leaning toward overwatering. Doesn't feel right.
I was mentioning my plastic pots for the same reason you mentioned: hot roots. Very much a consideration. If my pots stay in the sun, they get hot so I do my best to keep them out.
After being back in the tent for a couple and a half hours, the cupping has all but gone away. We'll see how they look in the morning.
 
I try and keep frozen zip lock bags filled with water in the freezer that I can easily set on top of my soil for the really hot days, Works like a charm. Going with your gut is a good thing. Nobody knows your grow like you do.
 
I prefer to use my GPS Mr. South-governor. Not as efficient as the GPS when close to the north pole. Just sayin my amigo !!
 
You can take your little satellite dependent, snake oil gadget to the outhouse. When you run to your boreal forest, in shame, you'll be blocked from your satellites. And when I set off my EMP in your pursuit, you'll wish you had taken my first suggestion.
I'm a recovering Geocacher. I know allllll about those doohickies.
 
Those black plastic pots get real hot in the sun and can not breathe well. Try moving them to a cloth bag? They look like they are saying my roots are to hot and wet.

Just ordered more coco for the final transplant to 5 gallon fabrics. The plastics all have anger holes for air. Anger holes are where you take a knife and stab the sh!t out something.
This is what I've done in the past, transplanting from solo, to one gallon plastic, to 5 gallon fabric. Never had the issue.
There is no cupping, this morning. Going to make sure the pots stay cool. If it happens again, I'm figuring they're just super happy plants.
