fan for grow tents

Was just curious since my vivosun clip fan shit out after 2 weeks. I only have 1 stationary monkey fan at this moment and wanted to order some over the weekend. What are you guys using that seems to last? Was looking at the oscillating monkey fan but seems to have a lot of reviews abut fire on amazon

I use a single oscillating tower fan and an exhaust fan in my tent and it works pretty well, no need for clip ons. Not a pedestal fan, they take up too much space. A tower fan takes up less than 1 square foot in a corner.

I think clip fans are just one of those things that every grower ought to keep a spare of ready to go at a moment's notice. It seems they only die when you're broke or they're out of stock. I just invested in a Vivosun oscillating clip fan and I'm praying it stays alive a while. But hey, at least if clip fans die young, it means you never have to clean them.

ill check out this option . can they be run on a timer? ive been cycling the fan with the light schedule. thanks

Funny, I ordered a cheap oscillating fan from walmart.com it was 15 bucks. No brand on it. Still running now for almost 7 months straight. Bought vivosun 6 inch variable speed exhaust and it crapped in 3 months.

I had a hard time finding a better pic but this will work. 25 dollar fan from hardware store stripped the base off and hung it up, been going for years. Top left behind the white light, and I put a box double window fan at the bottom of the tent blowing up, been running for a year and a half now, those paired with the exhaust fan give me more air circulation than I know what to do with in a 4x4. I've tried other clip on fans and stuff but they're all garbage so far as I'm concerned. The hanging fan stays on one unless it's a warm day then I put it to 3. Just have to point it at a wall not at the plants. Too much power for the plants to take.

My experience has been to stay away from Vivosun products. I like the Secret Jardin line - fans are great and have lasted a year so far. If they are like the tents I expect they will last a while.
