Experienced 315 W LEC/CMH Users - Does a 3k Flowering bulb really make a difference?

I just received my Grower's Choice LEC. It came with a 3k flowering bulb. I've been using a 4k bulb, in my old Vivosun light. That bulb is still good and I will use it. If a 3k bulb really enhances flower, though, I'll slap that puppy in!

I've very little actual experience with these lights but I have read a shit ton of stuff about it and my understanding is that lower temperature light 2700..3000 is better for flowers

I'm actually curious on this. I use lec and use the 4200k phillips master color blue for both veg and flower and the buds turn out great. I know that the blue spectrum helps with resin production but not sure how much the 3000k bulbs help bud production so love to hear your thoughts after everything is said and done.

My opinion is that LEDs are the way to go because you're right different spectrum has different affect on plant growth. My opinion though is based on the many conflicting and most of the time confusing articles that I've read not actual experience. My understanding of the different colors of lights is that the lower the Kelvin the hotter or red the color and reds are more for flower and the higher K or blues better for veg. That said a plant will grow full cycle under almost any light but the studies are leaning towards a mixture of spectrum gives you a better quality and quantity. LEDs have evolved from red blue or blurple mix to full spectrum boards. So LEDs and I believe it is ceramic something something that gives you that ideal mix and is closest to actual sunlight which will give the best results.
