Ever order directly from small breeders?

I heard a great podcast interview with Chemma Labs, a solo breeder focused on revitalizing old school diesel and skunk stains. It opened up a whole new seed sales I didn't realize existed. There's tons of individual breeders selling their stuff direct to consumer. Have any of you bought seeds direct from small breeders? How was it?

Well i have for years purchased from a small breeder who crosses his own strains. Sometimes i've had runts or early flowering underdeveloped plants mostly from the autos.
