Es300 users advice

Just recieved the ES300 V3.
Anyone with experience using eletric sky?
I have started at lvl4 and 36" as per the factory's instructions, do I lower 1" a day to get to 24" and at what point do I crank the power up? They reccomend to be at 100% before the flip.
