Hello my fellow growers.
So I have made it to week 4 of 12/12 lighting on my second grow indoors for 15-16 years. As you will see by one of the pics I will be uploading I have changed my lights around a bit and added another 600w HPS light. As I like a bit of a challenge(haha) I have halved the tent into sections, HID and LED. And surprisingly it is working. With the HID lights off I was able to angle the middle LED towards the plants more so I wasn't wasting good light(pic included). Keeping the temperature around 25°C humidity is around 45-50% and both sides seem healthy. As I wasn't getting enough coverage over the other two plants with one 600w HPS light, I decided rearrange that side of the tent and add another 600w HPS light. And I am glad I did, big improvement on bud development and all around health with the plants.
I did another defoliation and a bit of lollipoping on the end of the third week of 12/12 lights. I have included pics of before, after and week after defoliation. From now on I only plan on pulling branches outwards to let light to lower buds, air circulation etc, and taking any large leaves from the centre of the plant that are covering bud sites. As this is only the second time I have done defoliation please go easy haha, but any advice is greatly welcomed.
I now have 3 clones in Jiffy pellets that are ready for planting today, 2 x Gelato OG and ! x White Widow. I also have two clones in water(Gelato OG) that are have showing roots, just waiting for the roots to grow a bit longer before planting. I have also just the only Incredible Bulk seed I had pop today. So planning on doing 2 x Gelato Og 1 x White Widow 1 x Incredible Bulk for my next grow

PS The White Widow are under the HPS lights..Gelato OG under the LED's. Gelato OG is doing really well, cant believe the size of the buds for 4 weeks 12/12 lights. White Widow is catching up though since I introduced the extra light. Happy growing everyone..
