Easy tie down option for plant pots

Heres an easy tie down technique for plant pots.
As you can see in the photos i have a wire fed through the frame of the pot so i have a tie down rail for my branches. Sometimes people just make holes in the pot but this can be messy and damaging to the pot. With this technique the frames integrity stays the same and you are not limited to where you can tie down to, complete flexibility.
Below the pots handle lip there are more often than not, little suuport braces to keep the lip rigid. I drilled holes in every one just big enough so i could feed a fence wire through and tie off.

Enjoy :)

I just drill holes vertically in the top lip and use zip ties looped through, the I have a fastening point to tie the branches to.

I use 12 or 14 gauge solid copper wire. Just poke it in the dirt. Is also insulated to protect the stem.
