Earwigs fucking earwigs

Are you sure it's the earwigs? They mostly eat the dead vegetation around the garden. They also eat aphids, maggots, grubs & most insect eggs. For the most part they don't go for greens until those foods are depleted.

To git rid of em you can use borax. Protect your plants by putting some vaseline around the base, or set out traps. Bamboo or soy sauce/oil.
 
Yeah I'm sure as I have pulled them off it both times and av got baseline on the steam and going to put some around the top of the pot tonight
 
As in a dish on top of the soil??? Av got vasline on the steam and it seems to be doing the trick a think it was a case of forgetting to keep topping it up
