I'm a new personal grower (growing outdoors) and my harvest is nearing.
I'm growing white widow and the leaflet said its flowering stage is 8-9 weeks.
Week 7 is about to end this sunday now but the all of the pestils on one of the plants have already turned brown even tho its only week 7.
The buds aren't the largest yet (it seems really leafy instead of weedy, like a lot of sugarleaf) so i would prefer to let it maybe sit for the 8th week, but i also read online that if you don't harvest before all pestils turn brown you've passed peak potency and that the thc starts degrading after this. I coundn't find any numbers on how quick this process happens tho.
So should i harvest it now in week 7 or would you let it sit for another week?
Also if anyone knows what the condition in the picture is and if its something i should worry about like cut off where it starts, i'd love to hear about that too
