I have three plants that immediately went into bloom when I transplanted them. Two of them I topped at the third leafset. The other one wasn't even topped but immediately went into bloom. Plants are grown outdoors in containers. The soil is a custom blend of my own with compost, potting soil and added perlite. It was also PH balanced to 6.7. Two other plants grown in the same soil grew to full maturity. Why did the other plants bolt?

Could of been autos?
I have seen many plants go into early flower this year.
Genetics play a huge part of what a plant does, IF these are autos they should start to flower at 3 to 5 weeks old.
We like to say photos need 12 hours dark, but most I have flowered at 10 hours dark this year.

One plant is Swiss Dream. One is Kush CBD. Yes, I think these are Auto/feminized seeds. The 3rd is unknown cultivar. All three were grown for several weeks indoors before transplanting outdoors because of cool temps. Maybe this is the reason for the early bloom.? How would I avoid this in the future?

pyro1jack Maybe they are autos, which I've never grown. Or maybe the change in light triggered them to go into flower. You know that when the light is suddenly reduced to less hours of light per day that they switch to producing the flowering hormone.
To avoid it, I'd suggest sticking to the lighting schedule either indoors or outdoors, cuz I'm thinking that the mixing of the two may have something to do with it...
