New growth dying. Healthy plant other wise. Out door FF soil ph water only. first week of flower and the new growth is drying and cracking and shrinking

I think it's a boron deficiency.

Thanks a bunch. I’m going to recalibrate my ph pen and see if I can bring it to an acceptable range for it to uptake boron ..... my well runs at about 8 ph. I appreciate your time
