DWC pH

I just tossed out my second two week old plants for the second time. I can't keep the pH in range. I'll get it down to 5.5 and four hours later it's back up to 7.3. or so. Im using general hydroponics trio along with bioguard. I have a white bucket I sprayed with silver paint, would light getting in do this to the pH?

I never noticed this with any of my DWC grows let us know what you find out!

What kind of water are you using? Are you adding nutes before or after you balance pH?

Im using tap water that sat out 2 days and the pH is fine until I add the nutes
