How do you guys keep a consistent temp when drying your flower? I have a portable A/C unit in a small bedroom, with a small exhaust fan blowing cool air into the tent. But the temp fluctuates up to 72° degrees sometimes. I have it on 66° with a small dehumidifier in the tent. I'm afraid the portable unit won't make it through the two week drying period, working at that temp 24/7.

I'm assuming your are measuring the temps in the tent and not the lung room? The small fan blowing air into the tent may cause your flowers to dry to fast. Do you have a problem with high humidity? The dehumidifier could cause the RH to be too low. Optimal temps are 60-70 F and RH 50-60%. If you're environment is anywhere around those numbers you should be OK.
It should not take two weeks to dry your weed. You want a slow drying process but don't sweat it if your drying period is less than the two weeks you have on your mind. My last harvest dried in about 5 days with temps at 70-72F and RH about 50%.
After the drying period comes the cure, that's where all the good stuff happens. The cure is the hardest part because you want to smoke your weed. :youre-killin-me:

You asked how I dry my freshly harvested bud. I cheat. In my basement, I have a totally dark, climate controlled room - ventilated, 55°F (a bit cool) and 50% RH. I hang buds on coat hangers, check and rotate position every couple of days. Cooler temp slows drying a bit - about two weeks. Buds trim well for curing.
